Connect Groups are small groups where we gather together, to support one another and grow together as we connect the Bible to our everyday lives. These groups often reflect on the theme we have looked at on the previous Sunday with a focus on talking through how it applies to our lives.
Every group is different but will incorporate a time to chat together, pray together, sometimes eat together, and discuss a particular Bible passage or theme together. In Bryn Sion we laugh together, celebrate one another, and sometimes even cry together. We do life together.
This group meets on a Tuesday evening and is designed for women to gather together, focusing on building a community where they can grow as followers of Jesus and come together to support and encourage one another.
Our prayer group meets for one hour of prayer on a Wednesday evening. As a group we start with an encouragement from the Bible, then pray for the needs of our church family and community and all prayer requests that come to us as a church. Can we pray for you?
Meeting on a Thursday morning this group specialises in doing what it says - doing simple Bible study, encouraging and helping one another. It is ideal for those who are just starting out reading the Bible.
Meeting every Thursday, the mission of this group is to unite and equip the men of our church towards: higher, deeper & further in relationships with Jesus Christ and to be shining lights. Faithful men with a purpose, staying true, staying faithful, staying connected.
We have a full youth programme that runs every Friday evening through three groups covering ages 10-18. We want young people to grow in their faith and be encouraged in their walk with Jesus.
Bryn Sion is also a Proton Foundation Flourish Project Hub and we run sessions in local schools
This is a group for those aged 18-30 and meets every Monday. There's encouragement and support. The group meets some Monday's for Bible study and other Mondays, or other times, to hang out
This is a mid week fellowship for those in their senior years. They meet on Thursday afternoons and enjoy hymns, a preach, prayer and even a quiz! All followed by a cuppa and cake
