Connect Groups

Here in Bryn Sion we want to be plugged in to Christ's life, connected up in Christ's love and shining out Christ's light. Connect groups are right at the centre of this vision

Connect Groups are small groups where we gather together, to support one another and grow together as we connect the Bible to our everyday lives. These groups often reflect on the theme we have looked at on the previous Sunday with a focus on talking through how it applies to our lives.

Every group is different but will incorporate a time to chat together, pray together, sometimes eat together, and discuss a particular Bible passage or theme together. In Bryn Sion we laugh together, celebrate one another, and sometimes even cry together. We do life together.

This group meets on a Tuesday evening and is designed for women to gather together, focusing on building a community where new believers can grow as followers of Jesus and come together to support and encourage one another.

Our prayer group meets on a Wednesday evening. As a group we start with an encouragement from the Bible, then pray for the needs of our church family and community and all prayer requests that come to us as a church. Can we pray for you?

Meeting on a Thursday morning this group specialises in doing what it says - doing simple Bible study, encouraging and helping one another. It is ideal for those who are just starting out reading the Bible.

Meeting every Thursday, the mission of this group is to Unite and Equip the men of our Church towards: higher, deeper & further relationships with Jesus Christ and to be shining lights. Faithful Men with a purpose, staying true, staying faithful, staying connected.

Our Youth group, led by Alys and Nas meets every Friday evening and is for anyone aged 11-18. Youth is for young people to grow in their faith and be encouraged in their walk with Jesus.

We encourage all those who are new to faith to join our Alpha and Getting Started sessions. This is a great way to meet people who are also getting to know Jesus and a safe space where you can learn and ask questions
